We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and energetic Shop Helper / Service Porter to join our Service Department. This role is essential to keeping our service department running smoothly, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring our guests receive friendly, professional service.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work, and is eager to learn. Previous automotive or dealership experience is an asset, but no experience is required. We are happy to invest in the right person and provide the training and support needed to succeed.

Responsibilities

- Assist technicians with basic service department tasks and help maintain the smooth flow of vehicles through the service bays.




- Perform vehicle walk-around inspections, identify visible defects or concerns, and communicate findings to the appropriate team member.
- Wash and clean customer service vehicles as required.
- Safely move, park, and organize customer vehicles, as well as new and used inventory.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service bays, shop areas, parking areas, and vehicle staging areas.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their vehicle-related needs.
- Respond to guest inquiries in a friendly, professional manner and direct questions to the appropriate team member when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, and other dealership staff to support efficient daily operations.
- Follow dealership safety procedures and handle vehicles responsibly.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Service Department and overall dealership operations.

- The ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and take pride in completing work properly.
- Previous dealership, automotive, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Bilingual communication skills are an asset but not required.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
