Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in both brampton and Georgetown locations. This role involves working closely with children, families and our clinical team to develop personalized therapy plans that support their developmental goals. Your expertise will contribute directly to improving the quality of life for our clients and their families. We offer competitive pay as well as flexibility to build your own schedule. Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of clients with developmental challenges and create tailored therapy programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to families throughout the therapy process.
- Maintain accurate medical and therapy records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and industry best practices.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing career development activities
- Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Canada.
- Experience working in hospital or acute care settings is highly preferred.
- Strong case management skills and experience with pediatric populations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pediatric therapy.
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual client needs.
