Whitemud Ironworks Limited is one of the largest open shop commercial fabricator/erectors in Western Canada. We are a fully integrated steel fabricator and erector that specializes in structural and miscellaneous steel projects in the commercial sector.

We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Steel Loader/Painter to join our fabrication team in Nisku, AB on the afternoon shift.

Shift schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

The key duties of this position include:

- Loading structural steel using an overhead crane
- Painting and coating fabricated steel according to specifications
- Preparing steel surfaces for painting (cleaning, masking, touch-ups, etc.)




- Loading and unloading trucks
- Inspecting incoming materials and verifying packing slips
- Working closely with the Shipping Coordinator and shop team
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum 2–3 years experience loading structural steel with an overhead crane
- Previous experience painting/coating structural steel
- Forklift and Zoom Boom experience considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow loading and paint specifications
- A team-oriented attitude with a high commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
