Who we are looking for:The Victoria Inn Brandon is searching for an Executive Chef. This position will require the ability to take control of situations and adapt to regular interruptions. The successful candidate will oversee the entire kitchen, which prepares meals for the 34th Street Bar & Grill as well as all banquet functions held at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre. Time management and organizational skills are crucial. Only candidates that have a Culinary Arts Diploma or equivalent education, as well as a minimum of two years’ experience within the food service industry will be considered.

What you will learn:The successful candidate will attend department and management meetings, as well as career development courses and workshops.

Position Summary:Under the guidance of the General Manager, initiate and promote consistency and maintain high-quality food services through the management of front-line and banquet & catering operations.



Successful candidate must maintain efficient communication in a fast-paced environment and provide employee guidance with all food preparation. The Executive Chef will need to coordinate effectively with the Banquet and Restaurant teams to provide the highest quality of food in both departments. Monitoring inventory levels and processing orders will be required as well as ensuring proper procedures, policies and standards are being followed.

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
