Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) — Lethbridge

We are seeking a qualified, caring and reliable Registered Massage Therapist to provide skilled massage treatments at our North Side Lethbridge location.

Location:249 12A Street North, Lethbridge, AB T1H 2J2, inside The Greenroom Spa & Salon.

Arrangement and compensation: Independent contractor opportunity, with part-time or full-time availability considered. Therapist receives 60% of treatment fees before GST. GST is excluded from the commission calculation. Compensation is based on completed treatments, rather than guaranteed hourly pay. Clinic provides the treatment room, massage oil and booking system. Therapist is responsible for laundering the linens used for their treatments. As a self-employed contractor, the therapist is responsible for their own taxes and applicable contributions. Schedule and room availability will be discussed together.

Requirements: Completed 2,200-hour massage therapy diploma. Current membership in a recognized Alberta massage therapy association. Valid professional liability insurance. Qualifications accepted by insurers for massage therapy reimbursement. Professional communication,



reliable attendance and respectful client care. New graduates who meet these requirements are welcome.

Responsibilities: Assess clients’ needs and provide appropriate therapeutic and relaxation massage. Obtain informed consent and maintain professional boundaries and appropriate draping. Keep accurate treatment notes and protect client confidentiality. Maintain a clean treatment room and follow infection prevention procedures. Provide suitable home-care recommendations within your training.
