S.C. Delong Sales Inc. is recruiting an Outside Technical Salesperson. Responsibilities include servicing and maintaining existing accounts, prospecting, identifying, and developing new customer accounts, ensuring positive customer interactions, and accurately completing quotes, proposals, warranties, CRM entries, marketing plans, and other administrative tasks.

This position is ideal for the people person who enjoys building lasting relationships, and who knows how to translate the technical into understandable sound bits!

Desired Qualities and Experience:

· Education and knowhow in MET, CET, boiler operations, or power engineering

· Minimum two years’ experience in sales or account management experience

· Experience with Proposals, RFPs, and Tenders

· Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), experience in Quickbooks would be an asset but not required

· Internet- and research-savvy

· Outstanding communication, presentation, and active listening skills

· Must be self-motivated, independent, and a quick learner





· Must be detail-oriented and have solid problem-solving and analytical skills

· French language skills would be an asset, but not required
