Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Givex or Restaurant POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and bussing to support smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary options to answer guest questions confidently
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions using POS systems like giveX or cashiering tools




- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to coordinate seating, order flow, and service timing
- Serve alcohol responsibly, following Smart Serve guidelines and ensuring guests' safety and enjoyment

Experience

- Previous experience in a bar and grill setting is preferred
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems including Givex or Restaurant POS platforms is highly desirable
- Solid customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Smart Serve certification is required for serving alcohol
- Experience in serving or hosting roles that involve upselling, guest engagement, or food preparation is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment in fast-paced settings
