- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients upon delivery.
Requirements :
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and forklifts is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for basic vehicle maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing delivery schedules.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and navigate various terrains as needed during deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
