Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator and Project Coordinator specializing in Metal Fabrication to join our team. This role is supported by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

Duties

- Review customer inquiries, drawings and project specifications to determine material, fabrication and delivery requirements.

Qualifications:

- Review customer inquiries, drawings and project specifications to determine material, fabrication and delivery requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations based on materials, labour, outsourced services and transportation costs.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes, pricing and lead times.
- Process customer orders, prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate project records.
- Coordinate with the production team to confirm capacity, timelines and order progress.
- Outsource fabrication work to qualified companies, confirm scope and pricing,



and monitor completion.
- Book trucking and arrange pickups and deliveries of materials and finished products.
- Communicate with customers about quotations, order status, delivery schedules and project changes.
- Track project costs, resolve order or shipping issues and follow up on outstanding work.

Qualifications:

- Experience in estimating, order processing or project coordination, preferably in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and understand project specifications.
- Solid communication, organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
