Job Description

Burgessville Grain & Feed Inc. is a family-owned and operated agricultural business proudly serving Ontario's livestock producers with quality feed products, grains, and commodities.

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Customer Service Coordinator to join our team for a full-time maternity leave coverage position.

This role involves customer service, bagged feed sales, assisting dispatch, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with customers and thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Bagged Feed Sales

- Answer calls, emails, and assist customers with inquiries.
- Handle bagged feed sales, orders, pricing, and product information.
- Process orders, invoices, and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain customer relationships and assist with inventory records.

Dispatch Support

- Assist with daily truck scheduling and delivery coordination.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and suppliers.
- Prepare transportation and cross-border documentation.
- Support dispatch with daily operational needs.

Office Administration & Communications





- Maintain customer records and general office documentation.
- Prepare quarterly customer and employee newsletters.
- Manage company social media posts, promotions, and updates.
- Assist with general administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

- Agricultural background or livestock feed knowledge preferred.
- Customer service, sales, or office experience an asset.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer applications.
- Social media and newsletter experience an asset.
- Dispatch, trucking, or QuickBooks experience an asset.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
