Job Description:

We are looking for an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities for a manufacturing business in Vaughan, Ontario. This role is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing financial records with accuracy. The successful candidate will contribute to timely reporting, maintain smooth transaction processing, and help ensure the integrity of accounts across payables, receivables, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and processed within established timelines.
Prepare and review customer billings, supplier invoices, and related documentation to maintain complete and up-to-date financial records.
Perform regular account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to support accurate ledger balances.
Assist with month-end close tasks, including journal entries, account analysis, and supporting schedules.




Maintain accounting data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and help keep system information organized and reliable.
Use Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data, track outstanding items, and prepare routine accounting reports.
Communicate with internal teams and external contacts to resolve payment, billing, and account issues efficiently.

Requirements:
Experience handling account reconciliations in a finance or accounting setting.
Practical knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data review, tracking, and reporting.
Familiarity with month-end close procedures and supporting accounting activities.
Experience using Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable accounting system.
Solid attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
Transparent communication skills and the ability to follow through on outstanding accounting matters.
