Job Responsibility:

ABOUT US:

Piscine Energetics is SAVING OKANAGAN LAKE! 1 SHRIMP AT A TIME .. (Mysis Shrimp that is!)

Have you never heard of Mysis shrimp? Mysis shrimp is an invasive plankton harming the fish populations in Okanagan Lake. These little shrimp were introduced by the government as a food source for the Kokanee Salmon but things got out of hand... their population exploded... and are not competing with the baby salmon in the lake for the tiny feed organisms.

SO WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH A JOB OPPORTUNITY?

At Piscine Energetics we are removing these invasive “pests” and turn them into aquarium fish food!

YUP! You heard that right . We are transforming invasive plankton into sustainable fish food right here in the Okanagan!

Basically we are "FEEDING NEMO" !!
