Furniture Warehouse Inventory Team Lead

Overview:ScanDesigns is a family run Furniture Retail in British Columbia. We are looking for a Warehouse Lead at our distribution center to look after our delivery program and customer service. The role requires general warehouse experience and requires a motivated individual to oversee daily warehouse operations and support the efficient flow of goods in our distribution center with guidence from our warehouse manager.

Responsibilities:- Assist the Warehouse Manager in supervising daily warehouse activities, including receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management.- Work closely with the pre delivery inspection team to address shipments and resolve inventory-related issues.- Communicate any shipment discrepancies or problems promptly to the Warehouse Manager.- Ensure adherence to safety standards by all warehouse team members.- Accurately pick, fill, scan, and pack transfer orders for delivery or shipment.- Aid in loading and unloading transfer orders using manual methods or pallet jacks.- Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy and organization.- Foster a cooperative team environment within the warehouse through strong leadership skills.- Assist in evaluating and mentoring warehouse personnel.- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse work area.- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.





Skills:- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center; experience in furniture or appliance distribution is advantageous.- Ability to lift/carry items up to 50lbs and move objects exceeding 100lbs using appropriate equipment.- Proficient in physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, pushing/pulling carts, and operating pallet jacks.- Strong accountability, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.- Self-motivated with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.- Reliable, punctual, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.- Proficiency in computer systems such as Microsoft Office; quick learner for new programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
