Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Attendants and Restaurant Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service during events and functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and food safety.
Duties
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, and linens.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Provide excellent guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Transparent tables, reset for the next course, and maintain cleanliness throughout the event.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines during service.
- Assist with breakdown of events by cleaning up and returning items to their designated areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for guest interactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
- A background in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
