You will be far more than an external service provider—you will serve as an indispensable embedded partner to your clients. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple Canadian clients, ensuring accurate records, timely reconciliations, and complete month-end closes.

You'll work closely with senior accountants, maintain regular communication with clients via email and Zoom, and use modern cloud accounting tools to streamline workflows.

This is a client-facing role that requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Cloud Accounting System Management: Maintain full end-to-end management of client cloud accounting platforms (Xero or QuickBooks Online) with meticulous accuracy.

Document Processing & Data Extraction: Manage incoming receipts, bills, and source documents using automated fetching and extraction tools (e.g., Bank & Credit Reconciliations: Code daily bank feed entries and perform rigorous monthly reconciliations of bank, credit card, supplier, and clearing accounts.

Canadian Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Process Canadian payroll transactions and manage statutory compliance filings (CPP, EI, and T4 summaries/slips).

Payables & Receivables Oversight: Manage Accounts Payable workflows and monitor Accounts Receivable to help maintain healthy client cash flow.

Execute complete month-end closes and draft published financial reports under the supervision of senior accountants.





Serve as a direct, responsive point of contact for routine client inquiries, addressing operational needs and solving problems collaboratively.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

Public Practice Experience: Prior bookkeeping or accounting firm/BPO experience managing multiple client accounts.

Hands-on experience with Xero or QuickBooks Online (certification expected), alongside modern document collection tools like Double, Dext, and Hubdoc.

Solid working understanding of Canadian bookkeeping standards, sales tax frameworks (GST/HST/PST), and payroll processing.

Excellent communication and English language skills.

Strong appreciation for foundational bookkeeping and a commitment to craftsmanship and technical excellence.

Xero & QuickBooks Online (you will be expected to get certified).

Payroll software (QuickBooks Online Payroll, Payment Evolution, Wagepoint).

Training & Development

Our client provides full training and development.

Candidates who already have experience as bookkeepers will still go through the training and mentorship program. The goal is to develop you into a bookkeeping ninja - an expert in accounting tools, excellent in client service, and quick in your ability to keep everything up to date.
