The Tax Group is looking for a lawyer with a background in commodity tax to join one of the largest tax teams, offering a variety of stimulating challenges. Advise businesses on the application of commodity tax rules, including the GST/HST, the QST, provincial sales taxes, excise taxes and other specific indirect taxes.
Represent businesses in commodity tax audits and objections.
Support the structuring of commercial transactions to minimize potential negative commodity tax implications.

You have a bachelor's degree in civil law
You have a master's degree in tax law (or are in the process of obtaining one) or have completed the In-Depth Tax Program offered by CPA Canada
You have 2 to 4 years of experience in commodity tax law, in a law firm or an accounting firm
You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
