Elevate cultural services as a Senior Advisor for Museums & Collections in Brampton. Provide strategic guidance and operational readiness for the transition of the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives.

This full time, temporary role reports directly to the Director, Cultural Services. You will lead the integration of Museums & Collections services while developing an effective and sustainable operational model. Essential leadership skills are required to navigate multi-party governance, ensuring alignment with strategic directions as the transition progresses towards 2028.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead development of integrated Museums & Collections service framework • Translate Transition Board direction into City service delivery models • Identify and document readiness requirements for PAMA transfer • Develop and oversee collections management strategies for Bovaird House • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on transition planning

Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in Museum Studies or related field • Minimum 10 years in museum operations or cultural planning • Experience in service model development and organizational transformation • Strong project leadership and strategic thinking skills • Knowledge of museum standards and collections management
