Lead Bimbo Canada’s environmental sustainability initiatives as a Manager with a focus on impactful strategies and stakeholder engagement. This national role allows you to shape our 10-year sustainability strategy.
As the Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will report to the Director and collaborate with engineering leaders to implement sustainable practices across the organization. Your multifaceted role encompasses engaging with various functional partners, driving environmental compliance, and exploring funding for sustainability projects. You'll take the lead on initiatives that protect the workplace while engaging teams nationwide to enhance our sustainability culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies across all facilities
• Collaborate with functional partners to foster environmental initiatives




• Ensure environmental compliance in air and waste management
• Monitor changes in legislation impacting sustainability practices
• Manage a team and oversee sustainability reporting
Requirements:
• 3-10 years of sustainability program management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies or engineering
• Practical experience in industrial environmental compliance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in French is a major asset
