Become a Facility Cleaner with the YMCA of Three Rivers in the Waterloo Region. This full-time role focuses on maintaining facility cleanliness and high-quality customer service standards.
In this permanent position, you will work 37.5 hours weekly, maintaining the cleanliness of showers, washrooms, and all public areas. As a Facility Cleaner, attention to detail is critical, and you'll ensure that all cleaning tasks meet YMCA standards. Your role requires teamwork, organization, and physical stamina.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean all assigned areas regularly and thoroughly
• Restock dispensers and maintain cleaning supplies
• Wash and restock towels for facility use
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings
• Provide high customer service to all participants
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-year experience in a cleaning role
• Ability to use various cleaning tools and equipment
• Capacity to lift up to 50lbs and climb stairs
• WHMIS certificate or First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
• Versatile to support cleaning at the Guelph YMCA
