As part of Intact’s growing team, this role requires a seasoned Actuarial Consultant to handle complex projects in ratemaking, reinsurance, and data science. You will lead significant actuarial initiatives while coaching analysts and contributing to strategic business discussions. Collaboration and communication skills are essential to guide your team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively coach and train actuarial analysts
• Lead large-scale actuarial projects independently
• Contribute to strategic discussions in business
• Provide technical reviews and problem-solving guidance
• Drive cutting-edge approaches to complex tasks
Requirements:
• University Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in actuarial roles, preferably P&C; Insurance
• Certification in Actuarial, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred
• Knowledge of Python, Excel, VBA, or SAS
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
