Lorac Construction Ltd. is currently seeking reliable Journeyman/woman Carpentersto join our team. Our sites are located throughout Edmonton and the immediate surrounding area.No walk-ins please, only successful candidates will be contacted.Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter certificate or equivalent is required.Must have a minimum three (3) years of experience in commercial construction.Must be able to provide a security clearance and complete pre-work fitness to work and Pre-Access A&D screening.Fluent spoken and written English.Must own small hand tools.Must have own transportation with a valid driver's license.To be successful in this position,



the candidate would possess the following:Ability to use general construction tools and equipment.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Ability to work well with a team of co-workers and subcontractors.Ability to promote a positive work workplace.Actively participate in ensuring safety procedures appropriate to the work are in place and being followed by co-workers and subcontractors on-site.Actively participate in safety reporting, daily site records and other documentation.Actively participate in maintaining a tidy and safe work environment for all personnel and the public.Ability to organize, direct and control on-site construction.Have current 1 st Aid training, and relevant safety certificates.Experience with all or some of the following would be considered an asset:Concrete and forming experience.Wood framing experience.Door and hardware experience.Lorac Construction Ltd. offers competitive wages, benefits (dental, vision, drug, extended health, life/AD&D/Dep Life insurance, LTD), RRSP contribution program, annual boot allowance and more.
