This Social Worker role offers the chance to contribute within a energetic mental health team focusing on comprehensive assessments and counseling services. In addition, you will coordinate care for adults facing mental health and substance use issues while collaborating with various community health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth social and psycho-social assessments
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for client transitions
• Attend clinical conferences and prepare client records




• Offer consultative services regarding guardianship and community resources
Requirements:
• Current registration with BC College of Social Workers
• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Three years of experience in psychiatric settings
• Proficient in psychosocial rehabilitation and mental health resources
• Knowledge of conflict resolution and crisis intervention techniques
