Job specification Reporting to the Vice President, Retail Leasing – Eastern Canada Portfolio, the Director – Retail Leasing plays a strategic role in driving revenue growth, optimizing property performance, and creating a retail offering that is consistent, innovative, and aligned with market trends. This individual serves as an ambassador for the organization to retailers, business partners, and industry stakeholders. They lead complex leasing transactions,



develop lasting relationships with national and international retailers, and collaborate closely with internal teams (Legal, Development, Design & Client Delivery, Operations) to ensure a seamless tenant onboarding process. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize and contribute to the leasing vision and strategies for assigned assets. Develop and execute leasing plans aligned with portfolio objectives and national retail strategies. Identify, attract, and secure recent tenants to improve property performance and the customer experience. Manage renewals, relocations, and expansions for existing tenants. Negotiate and finalize lease agreements that maximize revenue and the long-term value of the assets. Ensure a seamless transition from negotiation through construction, opening, and tenant onboarding. Maintain strong relationships with retailers and actively gather their needs and feedback. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the operational success of leasing projects. Ensure an optimal and consistent commercial offering nationwide.
