Fortis Mining, Engineering, & Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Underground Miner / Equipment Operator in Saskatchewan to operate mining equipment safely and efficiently. Join a dedicated team in a team-oriented work environment focused on innovation and safety.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various underground mining equipment to ensure continuous site operations. With a focus on industry best practices, you will partake in safety meetings, perform equipment inspections, and collaborate closely with colleagues. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high safety standards and efficient mining processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate scoops, alpine miners, and bolting machines
• Install belt lines and perform rehab work




• Participate in safety meetings and inspections
• Communicate regularly with Maintenance and Operations
• Execute other onsite duties as required
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education
• At least two years of underground Potash experience
• Preferred experience with continuous and alpine miners
• Strong safety record and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
