What you’ll do:

- Set up and operate waxer, plate turner, stacker; make adjustments as needed

- Perform regular lubrication on the stackers, ovens, and related oven-exit equipment.

- Monitor wax application processes, making adjustments to ensure quality standards.

- Maintain equipment functionality by straightening and replacing wickets as needed.

- Sort plate, as required. Strap and/or wrap tinplate

- Assist Operator on changeovers, wash-ups and clean-up of equipment

- Maintain regular inspection of lacquered plate for visual defects and registration

- Make minor adjustments and repairs to waxer, turner and stacker within scope and training

- Report quality defects and assists in correcting

- Maintain records; maintains tinplate and lacquer code identification controls

What you’ll bring to the role:

- High school diploma or GED

- Minimum 2 years’ working in a high speed manufacturing environment preferred

- Mechanically inclined; experienced working with manufacturing equipment

- Able to lift 40 lbs. (18 kg) and stand for entire shift

- Basic administrative skills in maintaining records and controls

- Attention to detail and familiarity with quality principles

Our facility runs three shifts - must be able to work all three:

- Days ( 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)





- Afternoons ( 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

- Nights ( 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

- Wage Increase After Training Period (Training Rate $22.55/hr. Fully Trained Rate $24.21/hr.)

- Shift Premiums - Afternoons $0.50/hr | Nights $1.00/hr
