This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.Business Analyst - Job Description:The project involves business-as-usual (BAU) operations and aims to backfill a key position within a agile team environment. The role focuses on ensuring that the development team delivers customer-focused product increments, aligning with the product vision and maintaining a prioritized product backlog.Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
- Partner with management to support the delivery of a product vision
- Create and maintain a product backlog, continuously re-prioritizing user stories
- Align with senior management on product delivery roadmaps and release cadence
- Engage in scrum or Kanban events and suggest improvements
- Manage delivery initiatives and oversee development team (pod) backlogs
- Proactively address issues that impede efficient delivery of customer-focused incrementsBusiness Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in banking/financial sectors




- Prior experience using Scrum/Kanban project management frameworks: 5-7 years
- JIRA and Confluence: 5-7 years
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational skills
- Leadership mindset for leading the podBusiness Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Understanding of Architectural Design
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
