About the Role

Our client, a leading player in the South African property market, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Real Estate Valuer to join their dynamic team in Kimberley, Northern Cape . Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough physical inspections and detailed desktop valuations of a wide range of properties in the Kimberley region.
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate valuation reports, including market analysis, comparable sales data, and financial projections.
- Liaise effectively with clients, legal professionals, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and present findings.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local market trends, economic factors, and legislative changes impacting property values in the Northern Cape .
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on property acquisition, disposal, and investment strategies.
- Ensure all valuations comply with the relevant skilled standards, ethical guidelines, and statutory requirements.




- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key industry contacts and clients.
- Assist in mentoring junior valuers and contributing to team development.

Requirements

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Property Studies, Real Estate, or a related field is essential.
- Professional registration with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) as a Professional Valuer is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in property valuation, with a strong understanding of diverse property types.
- Proficiency in valuation methodologies, market analysis, and report writing.
- Excellent understanding of the property market dynamics within Kimberley and the wider Northern Cape province.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
