Quinte Health is seeking a Facility Maintenance Representative to ensure our hospitals run smoothly and safely. This role combines technical skills with critical maintenance work in a healthcare workplace.
Join a dedicated Facilities team at Quinte Health, where you’ll apply your licensed trades experience, contributing to HVAC, plumbing, and building systems maintenance. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of related experience and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills. You’ll engage in routine inspections, repairs, and collaborate with contractors to enhance hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor building systems using Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Respond promptly to service calls and document work accurately




• Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on complex equipment
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safety compliance
Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Current Certificate of Qualification in relevant trades
• Three years' experience in mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Satisfactory Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check
