As part of the Urgent Response Service, you will work closely with children and youth facing significant challenges related to social, emotional, and developmental functioning. This role demands the application of various therapeutic interventions, aiming to prevent escalation in crisis situations. Essential skills include managing challenging behaviors and providing direct care within home or community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supports therapeutic interventions aligning with client needs
• Provides a nurturing and validating workplace




• Assesses clients' skills through daily observations
• Engages clients in recreational and physical activities
• Maintains a safe and structured program environment
Requirements:
• College diploma in relevant fields
• Experience with children/youth with autism
• Knowledge of behavior principles and therapy frameworks
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Satisfactory clearance under Vulnerable Sector Screening
