Site Superintendent – Commercial Interiors Location: Greater Toronto Area Industry: Commercial / ICI Interiors Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to $100,000, based on experience The Chance Our client, an established General Contractor operating throughout the Greater Toronto Area, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join their team.This position is focused specifically on commercial interior construction and renovation projects, with a considerable portion of the company’s work located in downtown Toronto.The successful candidate will bring a minimum of five years of hands-on commercial interiors experience and be comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of active construction sites, coordinating trades, maintaining schedules and ensuring projects are completed safely and to a high standard.Please note: this is an interiors-focused position. Candidates whose experience is primarily ground-up construction without significant commercial interiors experience will not be considered.Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations on commercial interior construction and renovation projectsCoordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades throughout all stages of constructionMaintain project schedules and ensure work progresses according to established timelinesCoordinate site logistics, deliveries, access and sequencing of tradesReview drawings and specifications and ensure construction is completed in accordance with project requirementsIdentify and resolve site issues in coordination with the Project Manager,



consultants and tradesMonitor workmanship and maintain project quality standardsConduct regular site inspections and ensure deficiencies are addressed promptlyMaintain a safe, organized and professional job siteEnsure compliance with applicable health and safety requirementsParticipate in site meetings and provide regular updates on project progressCoordinate inspections, deficiencies, turnover and project closeoutMaintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholdersQualifications Minimum 5 years of commercial interiors construction experiencePrevious experience working as a Site Superintendent or in a comparable site leadership positionStrong experience coordinating multiple trades on active interior construction projectsSolid understanding of construction drawings, specifications and project schedulesStrong knowledge of commercial renovation and interior construction methodsAbility to manage projects in occupied or logistically challenging environments is an assetStrong organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities on siteStrong commitment to site safety and qualityAbility to work on projects throughout the GTA, including downtown TorontoCompensation Up to $100,000 annually, depending on experience.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial interiors Superintendent looking to join an established contractor with a consistent portfolio of projects throughout the GTA.#J-18808-Ljbffr
