West 41st Dentistry at Yew is an established, general dentistry clinic in the heart of Kerrisdale. We pride ourselves in quality patient care and professionalism. We're currently looking for a friendly, reliable and knowledgeable dental assistant to join our team!
Duties:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take and dental x-rays
Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as composite fillings and impression materials
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
Order and receive supplies
Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and trimming impressions
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
X-ray certification required
Experience with Tracker software is preferred
Schedule: Fridays 7:45 am - 4:30pm
Saturdays 7:45am - 2:45 pm

The ideal candidate is reliable,
skilled and has excellent communication skills. You must be able to work well in a team workplace, and have a robust desire to provide quality dental care to our patients.
We're looking for the right fit for our clinic and are willing to provide training for any gaps in knowledge if needed (iTero training, intraoral photos, rubber dams) so don't hesitate to apply if you feel this would be the right role for you. Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
