Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and other confectionery items.
Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all bakery work areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
Package baked products efficiently for display or delivery, ensuring freshness and presentation quality.
Assist customers by providing friendly service, answering questions about products, and offering recommendations.
Support stock management by rotating stock, checking expiry dates, and restocking shelves as needed.




Follow all food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and quality in every product produced.

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation or kitchen work, preferably within a bakery or restaurant environment.
Skilled in cake decorating techniques with an eye for detail and artistic flair.
Strong understanding of baking processes, including mixing, proofing, baking times, and temperature controls.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures to maintain hygiene.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach that enhances the customer experience.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Familiarity with packaging techniques suitable for bakery products to ensure freshness during display or delivery.
