We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in appliance repair, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of household appliances while providing excellent customer service. The Appliance Technician will work independently and must be comfortable interpreting schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Duties
Diagnose and repair various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ranges.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot electrical components and wiring issues within appliances.
Apply mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances as needed.
Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation to understand appliance functionality.
Assist in the installation of recent appliances when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot wiring issues.
Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing mechanical components.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with mangement and clients.
Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for various appliances.
Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
