Account Manager

$65-75K plus commissions

Our client, specializing in food service packaging is currently looking for an Account Manager. The role will focus on growing the business across independent grocery stores, cash and carry, etc.

Responsibilities:
Managing existing accounts and bringing in current business - Independent grocery chains, cash and carry, and restaurants
Attend trade shows and events
Participate in the identification of new market opportunities and new products.
Organize, including excellent follow-up, with national customers product training sessions, demos, business reviews, customer executive and category sales meetings.
Gather market intelligence to assist with company objectives.
Participate in the segmentation of both products and markets with a view to improving segment performance.
Implement recent products and customer programs in a team environment to ensure customer expectations are achieved.

Qualifications:




Post-secondary degree in a business or marketing related field.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
Industry knowledge and understanding of the packaging verticals and products, considered a strong asset;
Strong oral, written and presentation skills;
Ability to identify and maintain knowledge of key contacts within the region and establish multi-level relationships;
Proficient in using MS Office and CRM;
Strong organizational skills;
Robust organization and time-management skills;
Self-directed and self-motivated; and
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Benefits:
Base salary - $65-75K plus commissions
