The Role
We are looking for a reliable, high-energy individual to join our team at Mary & Larry’s. We are a classic "mom-and-pop" eatery built on down-home charm and high-quality, homemade food. With a community of almost 10,000 followers, we stay busy and need someone who can keep up with the pace while making every guest feel at home.
Our Gluten-Free Focus
A major part of our culture is being a secure, trusted destination for the gluten-free and celiac community.
Our menu is naturally gluten-free (with exception of breads, buns, and wraps).
We hand-bread and batter every piece of fish and chicken to order.
Your Role: You’ll need to be diligent about understanding our menu and safety protocols to ensure our guests feel 100% secure dining with us.
Compensation
Base Wage: $18.50 per hour
Tip Pool: On average, our team sees an additional $6.00 – $10.00 per hour from the tip pool for a total of $24.50 - $28.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service: Greet guests with that signature Mary & Larry’s warmth.
GF Awareness: Confidently explain our gluten-free options and safety protocols to guests.
Efficiency: Manage the flow of the dining room during our 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM operating hours.
Homemade Quality: Take pride in serving food that is made from scratch and hand-prepared.
What We’re Looking For
Someone who values the "small-town diner" feel and treats customers like neighbors.
High attention to detail (essential for handling dietary restrictions/GF orders).
A positive, hardworking attitude—we're a tight-knit team and support each other.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
