Duties
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently to keep the kitchen stocked and operational
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep, portioning, and assembling dishes under supervision
Support the kitchen team by handling food handling responsibilities in accordance with food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces to uphold health regulations
Help with meal assembly and presentation as directed by chefs or kitchen managers during busy service times




Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies to prevent spoilage or contamination
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use to promote a safe working environment

Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
Robust understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff
Basic knowledge of food industry practices including serving, food prep, and sanitation regulations
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
