This position may also be required to support the registration of patients into the NYGH patient care system (Cerner). This position supports the Hospital's academic mandate by advancing care through teaching and learning and/or transforming care through research and innovation. patients and families.* Register patients in order to collect and document information required for use throughout the Hospital* Chart retrieval and processing for discharged patients* Chart assembly after physician completion and performing final quantitative analysis* Perform ongoing quality audits on charts and processes* Accurately file and retrieve patients' health records on request for ongoing patient care, research projects and audits, etc.* File charts and loose reports within acceptable time limits* Work safely in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act* Ongoing updating of patient demographics as required* Collection of
