Duivenvoorden Haulage Ltd is looking for a full time Mechanic for our Afternoon shift

310T TRUCK & COACH MECHANIC

With headquarters in Innisfil and operating in the greater Simcoe County area, the successful candidates will be responsible for maintenance and repair of commercial trucks.

Key responsibilities
Diagnose and repair heavy trucks.
Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, road tests, and general vehicle repair
Perform preventative maintenance services and maintenance related work as required
Conduct safety checks, inspections, and certifications on vehicles and equipment
Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, use a variety of cleaners and solvents
Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
Work closely with an experienced team to provide outstanding customer service




Work in compliance with Company Health and Safety policies and OHSA standards

Knowledge, skills and abilities
310T license
Heavy Equipment license considered an asset
All levels of experience are considered
Ability to work as a team with employees and managers
Ability to work in a time efficient manner and perform quality work
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (oral and written)
