We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background in Asian Imports (specifically Subaru) and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Automotive Technician will work in a rapid-paced workplace, collaborating with other technicians and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
Perform diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilize hand tools and equipment to repair or replace defective parts.
Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and recommended services.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Experience in automotive repair.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
Familiarity with reading schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
