LifeSmart Health is looking for a full-time registered Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with experience or an interest in working with complex patients in a family medicine clinic. The position will be fast paced and require the successful candidate to have robust communication skills as they work in a team-oriented environment.

Shifts will be Monday to Friday with no weekend or stat holiday shifts required. The role will consist of working with a single primary supervisor in an independent role that allows the Physician Assistant to use the entire scope of their training.

Qualifications & Skills:
Candidates must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Educational Program acceptable to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and be eligible for national certification.
Recent clinical experience required.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of multidisciplinary team.
In good standing with current regulatory body (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba)
Excellent communication skills required
Recent experience using an EMR,



particularly Accuro
Recent experience working in an outpatient setting an asset
Acts professionally and responsibly
Shows a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities & Duties:
Conduct history and physical on patients
Assist physicians in care of patients
Provide education to patients and family
Navigate complex patients in an outpatient setting
Contribute to ongoing projects at the clinic
Proficiently use EMR to document encounters
Be adaptable with a variety of shifts

Compensation:
To be determined by experience, wages are competitive.
