Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Labourer/Sandblaster to join our agile manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces through sandblasting, assisting with assembly and machining tasks, and supporting various manufacturing processes. Your mechanical knowledge, ability to operate power tools, and familiarity with equipment like forklifts will be essential to ensure effective production and high-quality results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced workplace dedicated to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.

Wages start at 19$ an hour, at 40 hours a week. Skills and experience will scale this amount.

Duties
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for finishing or assembly
Assist with the assembly of components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed
Support machining operations by handling materials, setting up machinery, and performing basic measurements using tape measures and calipers
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery
Safely operate forklifts, cranes,



or other lifting devices to move heavy materials or finished products within the facility
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve productivity
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements
Previous experience with sandblasting or surface preparation is REQUIRED, we will not be providing training
Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and quality checks
Experience operating forklifts is a plus; certification is an advantage but not mandatory
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining techniques, or assembly work is beneficial
Robust work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
Willingness to learn new skills within a fast-paced production environment
