Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Labour Helper to join our construction team. This energetic role is vital in supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring smooth project progress across various construction sites. The Labour Helper will assist with a wide range of tasks, from material handling to site preparation, contributing to protected and efficient operations. Duties
Assist skilled workers with tasks such as carrying materials, tools, and equipment around the site
Support in setting up and dismantling scaffolding, formwork, and other structures for concrete and masonry work
Help with site cleanup, debris removal, and maintaining a safe work environment
Aid in the installation of drywall, flooring, tiles, cabinets, and other finishing components
Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision to perform various construction tasks
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist with project execution




Support heavy equipment operation and ensure proper handling of materials for concrete finishing, masonry, or framing projects

Experience
Prior experience working on construction sites or in related manual labor roles is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, or construction estimating is a plus
Knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, drywall installation, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or welding is advantageous
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment safely and effectively
Experience with concrete forming, finishing, restoration work, or tile laying will be considered an asset
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols diligently
