Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Meat Cutter to support daily meat preparation and customer service in a cold‑temperature setting. The successful candidate will cut, trim, and package meat products while following food safety standards and maintaining a clean work area. This role requires consistent attention to detail and comfort working in cold conditions.

Responsibilities
Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests
Handle all meat products safely, following food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Package meat products for retail display or customer purchase, maintaining freshness and presentation quality
Maintain cleanliness of work stations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
Assist customers with product selection and provide information on cuts and preparation methods




Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination or spoilage
Work efficiently in a cold workplace throughout the shift

Qualifications
Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery
Knowledge of meat cutting techniques, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures
Familiarity with packaging methods suitable for retail environments
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid‑paced setting with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service
Kitchen experience or prior food‑handling roles is highly desirable
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Comfortable working in cold temperatures for extended periods

Pay: $20.00 per hour
