Restaurant Cashier – Job Description

Position: Restaurant CashierJob Type: Full time / Part-timeLocation: Edmonton, Alberta

Job Responsibilities
Greet customers and take food orders accurately.
Operate the POS system and process cash, debit, and credit card payments.
Handle takeout and online orders.
Answer customer questions about menu items and prices.
Prepare and organize customer orders when needed.
Keep the cashier counter and dining area clean and organized.
Assist with restocking supplies and other front-of-house duties.
Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Follow restaurant hygiene, food safety, and cash-handling procedures.

Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills.




Basic English communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a rapid-paced environment.
Previous restaurant or cashier experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
