Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of Residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting prospect to work on diverse projects, from renovation to recent construction, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in residential or commercial environments.
Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete electrical tasks with precision and safety.
Work on low voltage systems such as communication lines, alarm systems, etc.
Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety standards.




Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; perform repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements
Valid journeyman/woman electrician license or certification recognized by local authorities.
Proven experience working as an electrician in residential and construction settings.
Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
Familiarity with low voltage systems, control wiring and renovation projects.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance.

Pay: $38.00-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
