Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when necessary
Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, ensuring they understand care procedures
Support front desk staff by managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments,



and handling basic administrative tasks as a dental receptionist
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and answer questions related to treatments or procedures

Experience
Prior experience in dental assisting or a related healthcare role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is advantageous
Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is a plus
Solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care
Experience with orthodontic appliances or CAD technology is beneficial but not mandatory
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
