As a housekeeper (minimum 22.5 hours per week) you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident suites and common areas.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to;

-Washing floors

-Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms

-Dusting

-Vacuuming

-Picking up garbage and recycle

-Washing windows

-Maintaining main floor areas

-Preparing housekeeping cart for next shift

-Working with cleaning chemicals

-Other duties as assigned

Must be able to:

-Stand for long periods of time including bending and lifting up to 50 lbs

-Valuable written and oral communications skills

-Ability to work independently and as a part of the housekeeping team
Positive attitude and be service-oriented
Follow instructions following close attention to detail on how to use cleaning supplies properly and how to clean properly
Must be able to get Police Clearance for Vulnerable Sector and 2 step TB Test
Prefer at least 1 year of experience but willing to train the right candidate
Previous WHMIS training is an asset
