Key Job Functions Include:
Verify customer purchase order and customer requirements
Create transparent and detailed manufacturing work orders using Visual ERP software
Select best manufacturing processes and compose accurate instructions/routings
Consult with manufacturing, purchasing and scheduling to ensure accuracy
Prepare shop prints for manufacturing, CAD layouts for forming and plasma/laser
Make plasma/laser burning programs and nests for Messer Table
Design fixtures and templates to assist / improve manufacturability
Manage and control Engineering drawings, specifications and records
Assist with development and implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives
Investigate manufacturing quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions
Work closely with customer / suppliers to clarify requirements and manage deviations
Assist in quoting current parts to support Sales team to secure / maintain partnerships
Complete administrative duties as required to help support the Stratford plant

Qualifications Include:
Post-secondary education in an Engineering or Technologist related field OR equivalent experience working in a similar role




Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software; ability to create, edit and manipulate 2D & 3D models/drawings
Minimum 3 years’ relevant manufacturing/fabrication experience including familiarity with manufacturing processes (welding, sawing, assembly, machine operation)
Familiar with manufacturing ERP systems is an asset (ie. Infor Visual)
Plasma/Laser nesting experience is an asset
