Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Finisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a painter/finisher in millwork or cabinetry. This role requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail and will be responsible for creating custom wood stain formulas ensuring quality and precision in every task. The Spray Finisher plays a vital role in maintaining effective production processes and delivering high-quality products to our clients.

(negotiable wage based upon skills & experience)

Responsibilities
Wood surface preparations, including but not limited to, sanding, filling, and cleaning prior to finishing
Applying high-quality primers, paints, stains, lacquers, and top coats
Inspect finished products for runs, sags, dust, or other imperfections. Performing touch-ups as required.
Operating and maintaining skilled spray booth and equipment
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards and manufacturing protocols

Requirements




Proven experience with painting and finishing millwork or cabinetry, preferably in a woodworking production environmet
Ability to create custom wood stain formulas to match customer supplied control samples
Excellent attention to detail combined with strong colour-matching skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace
Prior experience in a woodworking manufacturing or industrial settings is a plus

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
