Sweet Castle Bakery is a European and French-inspired bakery-café in Edmonton that specializes in gluten-free and vegan-friendly baking. Most of our menu is gluten-free, and everything is made from scratch for customers who want great flavour, whatever their dietary needs. We're a small, close-knit team looking for a dependable Artisan Baker who takes pride in quality and consistency.

In this role, you'll produce our daily line of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty items using our recipes and allergen-control procedures. You'll work closely with our head chef and supervisors to keep production on schedule, keep the display case full, and make every product consistent. It's a excellent fit for someone who enjoys hands-on baking, takes care with details, and wants to grow their skills in European pastry and gluten-free baking.

Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and finish breads, pastries, cakes,



and desserts following our recipes and daily production lists
Follow gluten-free and allergen-control procedures, keeping gluten-free and regular products separate
Decorate and finish products to our presentation standards
Keep workstations and equipment clean and organized
Label, date, and store products properly

Requirements
1+ year of baking or pastry experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery
Solid attention to detail, cleanliness, and accuracy with recipes
Available for early-morning shifts and weekends
Legally eligible to work in Canada

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
